Changes: LoveBits simplified the artwork into printable colour regions (merged small details, removed gradients, redrew overlaps as separate regions), mapped colours to filament colours, and joined emoji made of separate pieces with an outline.

LoveBits converted the Flat-style artwork into printable colour regions: overlapping shapes were redrawn as separate regions, details too small to print were merged into their neighbours, colours were mapped to filament colours, and emoji made of separate pieces were joined with an outline.

Used for the flag palettes (country flag thumbnails and flag colours) and for the country-flag LoveBits (Flags group).

The 4:3 flag SVGs are shown unchanged as palette thumbnails; LoveBits analyzed their colours and layouts to derive the flag palettes (filament colours are the nearest shop filaments, not the official shades). The country-flag LoveBits (Flags group) are converted from the same SVGs into printable colour regions: clips and strokes were flattened, colour details too small to print (under 0.8 mm), emblems and hairline strokes were merged into their neighbours or left out, and colours were mapped to filament colours. Each flag also has a waving variant (ids emoji-fw-<code>) made from the same flattened artwork by bending it with a vertical sine wave (a derived, modified version of the flag-icons artwork).

A compact subset estimates, in aggregate only, the gender split of first names in our internal analytics. It is never applied to an individual customer.

IANA Time Zone Database (tz) — github.com/eggert/tz. Public domain. Maps a browser time zone to a country for coarse, aggregate region statistics when no country hint is available. No IP address is used.
